Sierra Design Studios offers full CAD, prototyping and mold-making services to assist clients with their custom design projects. We are a collaborative union of two independent enterprises; Sierra CAD & Sierra Molds. We make a variety of products including jewelry, tableware, small industrial parts and small sculpture. We take pride in working together to provide our clients with the finest products and service.

Sierra CAD utilizes Matrix & Rhino software to create 3-D models. We work with your sketches, photos, or ideas to create a 3-D model to your exact specifications. Once you are satisfied with your model, it will be “out-put” to a rapid prototyping machine that creates an accurate prototype of your piece. Your prototype is then ready for molding or casting.

Sierra Molds offers model casting and molding services. Our master models are cast in sterling silver. We make a variety of mold types, including vulcanized and RTV (room temperature vulcanization), and can help you determine what will be the best kind of mold for your particular project. We can mold your wax prototype, or cast it in sterling silver prior to molding, depending on the nature of your master.
